Tourism Information and Links

To entertain you during your visit to the Gower peninsula we have listed some of the better websites that provide information on Gower. Please see our other information pages for details of Culture and Entertainment, Golf, Surfing, Folk Festival, Walking Festival, Castles, and Smugglers. The must-see landscapes are to be found at Rhossili, Penmaen, and Mumbles.

Park at the National Trust car park at Rhossili and walk out along the headland to view the iconic Worms Head. It is possible to walk onto the Worm at Low tide but the causeway is only open for a few hours between low and high tide. To avoid getting stranded on the Worm check the tide times – They are always posted at the coastguard station overlooking Works Head.

There is a small amount of free off-road parking at Penmaen with a short walk up Knott Hill to view Three Cliffs Bay. Runner up in the ITV show ‘Britains Favourite View’. Because of strong currents in the bay, it is only advisable to swim when lifeguards are on duty.
To help you get the most out of your stay at Hill House install our free mobile phone App that provides details of all the beaches along the Gower coastline.
