Dining Out in Gower

Here we have listed some of the local recommended eateries for lunch, evening meal, or that special occasion. Most of these are located in Llanrhidian, Penclawdd, or elsewhere on the Gower peninsula. At Hill House we are fortunate to have two of these just a short walk of about 200 yards from the front door. Others are within a ten to fifteen minutes drive from Hill House, Gower Self Catering Holiday Cottage.

Llanrhidian

Delightful historic and cosy village pub, dating from the 18th Century, which has new owners and reopened in May 2024. A characterful single room, warmed by a solid fuel stove. There is a children’s play area at the rear of the larger grassed beer garden. No hot food is currently on offer, but snacks, rolls and ploughman platters are available.
